صادق مجلس الشيوخ الاميركي الثلاثاء على تعيين كريستوفر هيل سفيرا للولايات المتحدة في العراق باغلبية ثلاثة وسبعين صوتا مقابل ثلاثة وعشرين، وذلك في ختام نقاش طويل دار بشأن هذا التعيين بعد تحفظات ابداها بعض السناتورات الجمهوريين المعارضين لهذا التعيين. وكانت لجنة الشؤون الخارجية في مجلس الشيوخ وافقت نهاية آذار الماضي على تعيين هيل سفيرا لدى العراق.

انتقد رئيس حكومة اقليم كردستان العراق نيجيرفان بارزاني قائمة الحدباء العربية لعدم اشراكها الاكراد في الادارة المحلية التي شكلتها في الموصل. وقال بارزاني ان قائمة التحالف الكردستاني كانت الثانية في انتخابات الموصل، و كنا نأمل ان لا تتصرف قائمة الحدباء هكذا. ورأى بارزاني ان القائمة لا تستطيع المواصلة هكذا، وستتعرض الى مشاكل كبيرة، محذرا من التسبب بفتنة بين العرب والاكراد.

عبد المهدي: عناصر في الصحوة تخطط لهجمات
وقال عبد المهدي «وافقنا على دمج عشرات الآلاف من عناصر الصحوة إلى القوات المسلحة، لكن بعض الجماعات رفعوا لواء الصحوة في بغداد وغيرها، وحتى بعض الجماعات الإرهابية». وأضاف محذرا «أحيانا نعجز عن التمييز.. بين قوات الصحوة الأصليين، ومن يدعون ذلك. بعض هؤلاء يدعون أنهم من قوات الصحوة وينتظرون الوقت المناسب لتوجيه ضربتهم». وأضاف «لذلك جرت توقيفات، عندما اكتشفنا علاقاتهم مع مجموعات إرهابية أخرى». وشدد على أن «قوات الصحوة الأصلية حركة حقيقية ساعدتنا على إعادة النظام إلى البلاد». وفيما أقر الشيخ علي الحاتم، شيخ عشائر الدليم في العراق ومن قيادات الصحوة في الأنبار، أن بعض «الصحوات» مخترقة من قبل تنظيم «القاعدة». داعيا الحكومة العراقية إلى «فرزهم» قبل ضمهم إلى أجهزتها. وقال ثامر التميمي، (أبو عزام) مستشار عام الصحوات في العراق، لـ،«الشرق الأوسط» إن هناك «بعض الأجهزة مخترقة من عناصر مفسدة، لكن هذا لا يعني أن نحل تلك المؤسسة أو نعمم الفساد على انه جريمة الجميع».
إلى ذلك، أعلنت الحكومة بأنه تقرر تحويل 80 بالمائة من عناصر قوات الصحوة للوظائف المدنية، ودمج 20 بالمائة منهم في القوات الأمنية، كما تعهدت بدفع رواتب أفراد قوات الصحوة كافة بمواعيدها المحددة.
